Algebra 1
Welcome to our 2021-2022 school year!
Hello! I'm Ms. Peavey, your Algebra 1 Teacher. I'm beginning my 21st year in education and 14th year with our awesome district. I'm very proud to be giving back to the community and school district that instilled a thirst for learning in me. I have a bachelors's degree in Education with a minor in Mathematics through Sam Houston State University. My Master's degree in Education, specializing in Instructional Leadership, was obtained through Lamar University.
I moved away from Trinity soon after high school graduation. I've taught at Dayton Junior High, Beaumont Smith Middle, and Hardin High School. My hobbies include traveling, singing in the Texas Jamborees and Opries, and spending time with my two lovely daughters (ages 24 and 18).
I'm looking forward to an amazing year with you in Algebra class!
