I love being the District Librarian for Trinity ISD! 

 

I am teaching information literacy skills to the middle school students and helping the high school students to become college and career ready.

 

I manage and operate the MS-HS Library Media Center (LMC) while overseeing the Lansberry Elementary Library.  Other tasks include managing the textbooks for all campuses and providing professional development for faculty and staff.

 

This is my 21st year in education and my 11th year at Trinity.  I began my teaching career at Coolidge ISD, moved on to Reicher Catholic High School, then to Brenham ISD, and now I am here!  I earned my bachelor's degree from Tarleton State University where I majored in Criminal Justice.  My master's degree, in Library Science, was earned from North Texas State University.

 

When not being a part of the Tiger Nation I enjoy spending time with my husband and cat.  The Chicago Cubs are my favorite MLB team, University of Tennessee is my favorite college and college sports teams.  I relax by reading and quilting.
